Invisalign and Invisalign Teen

What is it?

Invisalign is a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that move teeth.

How does it work?

The patient wears each set of aligners for 22 hours per day for approximately 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As the patient replaces each aligner with the next in the series, the teeth will move until they have straightened to their optimal position. The patient will see Dr. Fowler about once every 6 weeks. Total treatment time averages 9-15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.
